Paul is driven by his passion for understanding industries and business. He has mining in his blood, hailing from a long list of Scottish mining heritage.

He has cut his teeth in both the UK working for global advertising and publishing giant UBM, and in Australia on the CPA brand. Since the agencies birth Paul has led the agency working with over 70 brands both in Australia and the United States. He is most proud of his relationships with clients as he is sees this as the key to Heard’s success now and into the future.

Matt is Heard’s retro collecting, eatery frequenting Creative Director. Award winning and with more than 18 years’ experience, Matt has worked on high profile campaigns for independent and multinational agencies across Australia and New Zealand. Somewhere along the way he also racked up two weeks in Cambodia!

A highly skilled creative fluent in all things digital, Matt’s forte is coming up with ideas that can live in any medium and become part of the popular culture. He’s worked across every category in the book on a range of international brands including, American Express, Pizza Hut, KFC, Hyundai, Valvoline, Fuji Zerox, Panadol and Caterpillar. Locally, he has worked with some of Australia’s most recognised brands, including Sanatarium, Commsec, St George Bank, The Australian and the sadly departed BlueTongue beer.

No brief is too big or too small, for Matt. Regardless of the category and no matter what the business problem is, Matt will hit upon a game changing creative solution for your brand.

Darragh Heard, Director Operations at Heard Agency

Darragh Hodgson

Director of Operations

Hailing from a broadcast journalism background, Darragh brings almost a decade of impressive communication skills and experience to the table.

An advertising apprenticeship at M&C Saatchi and Whybin/TBWA equipped her with the knowledge requisite to exceptional professional account service, traffic management, forecasting and production.

In her time at Heard, Darragh has shepherded more than 100 campaigns for a range of clients from concept through to conclusion.

Insights and data driven, this is someone who takes ‘product knowledge’ very seriously and has become our in-house ambassador for a range of brands from household cleaning products to ice cream!
